Rebuilds
Product Inspection & Deposit:
- We target completion of initial inspection and repair estimate within 10 business days from the date the product is received.
- Immediately following inspection, you will receive a detailed breakdown of the proposed repair, including the estimated cost, parts required, and expected turnaround time.
- You can provide your approval for the repair via preferred method(s) [e.g., email, phone, portal] and payment in full prior to repair completion.
Repair Approval & Timeline:
- Specialty Products Company will charge a non-refundable inspection deposit to cover the initial diagnostic, tear down, and estimation.
- This deposit will be applied to the repair cost if you proceed with the service.
- Once the pump is received by PFS, you will have 90 days to approve and proceed with the repair.
- We will notify you upon completion of repair and confirm the estimated return date for your product along with tracking information.
Declining Repair, Abandonment & Product Return:
- If you decline the repair, the deposit will not be refunded and the product in its inspected state will be returned to the address provided.
- Abandoned product: PFS will make every effort to contact you for repair approval. If you do not respond within 90 days of product receipt, your product will be returned to you in its inspected state.
Returns
Any pump re-build or return of product must have an order or RMA number assigned by the sales team and must have an RMA # on the package. Non-RMA# packages will be refused. Please e-mail pfsinfo@specprod.com or call 1-800-926-7867 before returning any goods to Peterson Fluid Systems.
